GEPCO Facilitation Centers

Gujranwala Electric Power Company ( GEPCO) established facilitation centers at regional offices to attend the customer queries quickly and efficiently. These centers are categorized into three types which are below.

  • Complaint Redressal Cell
  • Customer Service Centers
  • Complaint Centers

Complaint Redressal Cell: The Central CRC (Control Room Center) is based at GEPCO Headquarters, under the leadership of the General Manager (Operations). It operates 24/7, divided into three shifts managed by the Deputy Manager (Operations).

CRC’s Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive and handle online or phone complaints from the Ministry of Water & Power, Islamabad. These complaints are resolved with the help of SDO/XEN/SE (Operations) and other departments like Construction and GSO Circles. After resolving, we confirm the solution with the complainant via phone.
  • Monitor and ensure the connectivity and restoration of the distribution system.
  • Oversee the Federal Complaint Cell (FCC) to address customer complaints.
  • Respond to consumer complaints on the 118 helpline.
  • Coordinate and monitor all Rapid Response units located in various company subdivisions.

Customer Services Centers: To help customers with billing problems, GEPCO has set up four Customer Service Centers at different Circle levels. These centers are managed by the Customer Services Director.

You can visit the nearest Customer Service Center during working hours for the following services:

  • Domestic customers can get their bills of up to Rs. 10,000 split into three installments (once every six months).
  • Fixing wrong readings on domestic bills up to 500 units.
  • Getting duplicate bills for any type of customer.
  • Extending the due date of current bills (up to Rs. 10,000) for a maximum of 3 days (only for domestic and commercial customers).
  • Removing the TV fee from domestic customers’ bills if they don’t have a TV.
  • Issuing advance bills for domestic or commercial customers upon request.
